As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I am proud to serve our military men and women and their families from the installations I represent at Fort Huachuca and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Southern Arizona. I am committed to ensuring that our military is provided with the best equipment and resources to prepare them for the full range of conflicts we may face.
During my time in Congress, I have aggressively pursued legislation to improve pay for the military, improve cultural and language training for the military and preserve jobs at our Air National Guard bases.
I have the privilege of representing 91,920 veterans in Southern Arizona and issues affecting our veterans are very important to me. I will continue to look for ways to ensure that those who have worn the nation’s uniform are treated with respect and gratitude. Our veterans were there for us when we needed them most. We need to be there for them.
